Key Specifications:

Flame-sprayed thermoplastic polyolefin coatings formulated for advanced corrosion protection in oil and gas pipeline systems. These coatings are typically polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) alloys, applied to steel substrates at high thicknesses (≥3 mm), ensuring robust mechanical and chemical shielding.

Engineered for buried, submerged, or offshore applications, they provide outstanding resistance to:

• Cathodic disbandment
• Soil stresses
• Impact and abrasion
• Saltwater and aggressive chemicals (resisting pH 2 to 13 environments)

PP-based variants (e.g. IBIX 11PP) offer superior high-temperature stability, suitable for hot crude, steam, or thermal pipeline operations. PE-based grades (e.g. IBIX 11FSPE) are optimized for compatibility with existing 3-layer PE or FBE mainline coatings, allowing seamless overcoating and fusion at field joints, bends, and fittings.

All coatings are:

• Halogen-free
• Low-smoke, low-toxicity
• Flame-resistant and non-leaching

• Standard/low-temp lines: IBIX 11FSPE for ambient or mild temperature service, with full compatibility with 3-layer PE systems.
• Offshore pipelines and risers: Providing a thick, chemically inert shield in splash zones, protecting against seawater, abrasion, and UV.
• Refinery and petrochemical plants: For steel piping exposed to acidic or alkaline environments where long-term chemical and corrosion resistance is critical.

These coatings ensure structural longevity and maintain pipeline integrity at the most vulnerable locations — joints and fittings — preventing premature failures and minimizing lifetime maintenance costs.
